Although it was released in 2010, The Long Before the Wheel Live acoustic EP features the very first songs I wrote when I arrived in Nashville at the end of 2009. Leave Oregon is about my first impression of Tennessee. Daffodils is about some fallen Portland musicians that died before their time. That Moon is about a mysterious evening hike in San Luis Obispo with some strangers. Clover is a love song for the love I had not yet met. And We Grow is a motivational ballad about constant change.
