I have maintained a songwriting blog since 2006. Yes, thanks to my friend Diggles, it’s safe to say I was blogging before blogging was cool. Is it though?
In truth, I was never really sure what I was doing or who I was doing it for. But I kept at it. I guess I was doing it for posterity, journaling a career that my children might care to thumb through one day. Perhaps not.
Regardless of my childrens’ hypothetical interest, I’m proud to say the work has recently been recognized: Feedspot has named this blog—my blog—one of the “Top 75 Songwriting Blogs on the Planet” // read the full list here.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve neglected this songwriting blog as of late (hey, with a baby daughter at home, it’s hard to find the time). But it’s fun to know that the content is being crawled by spiders and hopefully inspiring an actual human being, somewhere!
If not, I suppose the world will continue to spin. Perhaps not.
