As a part of the Soldier for the Muse Sessions, I am revisiting all the songs from all the years, recording each of my albums in front of a small studio audience. This first session included a compilation of my favorite songs from 2002–2004, a younger era when I wrote under the band name of Rhetoric Tuesday. And of course, there is no such compilation without Something Beautiful live acoustic.

The best part about recording live versions of old songs is witnessing their evolution. Just like artists, songs change so much over time. This particular Something Beautiful live acoustic version isn’t drastically different from the original Rhetoric Tuesday recording, but I think you can hear my growth as an artist.
