Devil Came Knocking Official Music Video

What do you get when you cross Devil Went Down to Georgia with Showtime’s Dexter? You get my song Devil Came Knocking.

Written in 2010, the song is about a theory I have: Modern man is eviler than that biblical devil ever was.

I mean, the stories tell us he was all kinds of bad, but it’s all relative; he could have been a feather-ruffler in a far more sanitized time. Fast forward to this new age. Look at our favorite shows—maybe you, me, WE are fundamentally darker than that storybook villain?

Maybe. Maybe not.

Either way, I put my theory to song. Then I drew some pictures to bring it to life. (The song is better than the illustrations, but you’ll forgive me for that.)
